What Data Afooga Stores
When you use Afooga and connect your Facebook or Instagram account, we may store the following data:
- Your Facebook User ID
- Your name and email address
- Ad account identifiers and campaign performance data
- Page identifiers and engagement metrics
- Business asset identifiers
- Any content you created through the Afooga platform
How to Request Deletion of Your Data
Option 1: Email Us Directly
- Send an email to support@afooga.com
- Use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
- Include the email address associated with your Afooga account
- We will confirm receipt of your request within 48 hours
- All associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
- You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete
Option 2: Remove Afooga from Facebook
- Log in to your Facebook account
- Go to Settings & Privacy → Settings
- Click "Apps and Websites" in the left sidebar
- Find Afooga in your list of active apps
- Click "Remove"
- Confirm the removal when prompted
When you remove Afooga from Facebook, we are notified and will delete all Facebook-related data associated with your account within 30 days. For complete deletion of all data (including data not tied to Facebook), please also email us using Option 1 above.
What Happens When You Request Deletion
- We will permanently delete all personal data and Meta platform data associated with your account.
- Campaign performance data and analytics will be permanently removed.
- Any AI-generated content or creative assets tied to your account will be deleted.
- Deletion is completed within 30 days of your request.
- Some data may be retained if required by law (e.g., financial records for tax purposes), but only for the minimum period required.
Waitlist Email Removal
If you signed up for our waitlist and wish to be removed, email support@afooga.com with the subject line "Waitlist Removal" and we will remove your email within 48 hours.
